Projects
Early literacy computers for the Children's area at the branch libraries
Earlier in 2010, the Dearborn Public Library Foundation funded the purchase of early literacy computers and software for the Children's area at each of the branch libraries. These top-rated machines are designed specifically for children from toddlers to second grade. The computers are being installed at the Bryant, Esper and Snow Branch libararies, matching those already at the Henry Ford Centennial Library.
Renovation of the Children’s and Youth areas at the Henry Ford Centennial Library
The Library Foundation funded the remodeling of the Children’s area at the Henry Ford Centennial Library (HFCL) in 2008. Remodeling of the Youth Activity Room at HFCL, used for programs for youth of all ages, is planned for later this year.
Please click on Make a Difference to find out how you can contribute to this Literacy and Lifelong Learning endeavor. We are currently raising funds to accomplish similar remodeling projects at the three branch libraries.
