Making a Gift

If you wish to make a cash donation to the Dearborn Library Foundation, please deliver your gift of cash in person to the Dearborn Public Library, Administration office. Do not send cash in the mail.
Office hours are: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm 

If you wish to use your credit card to make a donation, please use the donation forms on the right.

If you wish to make your donation to the Dearborn Library Foundation using a check or money order, please make checks and money orders payable to 'Dearborn Library Foundation' and mail to:

If you wish to donate monthly contact the Foundation office discuss the following options:

You may donate a specific amount monthly on your credit card.

You may also donate through monthly automatic bank withdrawals.

The Dearborn Library Foundation thanks and honors friends and supporters by recognizing their contributions.

For contributions which purchase specific items on the Library Foundation’s Wish List , permanent recognition will be placed on the item or in its nearest proximity. Such gifts can be used to honor or memorialize individuals, families, or businesses.

A Donor Wall will be located at the Henry Ford Centennial Library and will permanently recognize donors who contribute $5,000 and above. Tribute is also paid to persons in whose memory or honor a gift is donated.

 


When donating to the Library Foundation, you can choose to contribute to one of two funds:

Capital Improvement Fund
which provide funds to refurbish and renovate the Henry Ford Centennial Library and the Bryant, Esper and Snow Branch Libraries.

Endowment Fund
which provides funds to ensure ongoing excellence. The Foundation will invest the principal and distribute a portion of the interest annually.

Disclaimer

Donors may make gifts to the Foundation by naming the Foundation as the recipient or as the beneficiary. The Foundation may decline a gift if the Foundation Board determines that the gift is not in the Foundation's best interests. Gifts shall vest in the Foundation upon receipt, unless the Foundation Board subsequently declines such gift, provided, however, that any gift subject to a restriction shall not vest until accepted by the Board.
